On February 24, 2021, the company Smartpool recalled its Bee Free Children’s Helmets because they were incorrectly advertised and marketed for children aged two years and older. The helmets did not comply with the minimum safety requirements for children under age five and posed a risk of head injuries. About 500 units were recalled.
