Law enforcement responded to a single-vehicle accident according to a Fox5 news report. The crash occurred early on a Tuesday morning in September before 6:30 am. The crash occurred at Decatur Boulevard and Vegas Drive. One party involved in the crash was taken to UMC Trauma with non-life threatening injuries. The driver’s car ended up on top of other vehicles that were parked in the parking lot.

Other examples could include eating, texting, using the GPS, putting on makeup, or other things that can take your eyes off the road. This is because an accident can occur in a matter of seconds;
- Stay within the speed limit. More than 30% of all car accidents in America are due to speeding. Keep in mind that driving over the posted speed limit will not guarantee that you will arrive at your destination on time. Driving just 10 miles per hour above the speed limit, however, can increase your risk of being involved in a car accident by as much as 50%.
- Keep an eye out for bad weather. As November approaches, so does the winter, and the likelihood of those in the state experiencing some extreme weather. The chances of being involved in an accident increase when you drive in the rain or snow. Be sure to drive slowly, make sure your care is properly maintained, and that your vehicle has the right equipment.
