We are thrilled to introduce Arun Luckoor, who joins H&P Law as a Law Clerk. He currently serves on the Board of the South Asian Bar Association of Las Vegas as a Membership Coordinator. Educational Background
Arun graduated in December 2024 from William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, which offers a rigorous curriculum and boasts a leading legal writing program. Before attending the University of Nevada, Arun attended Rutgers University-New Brunswick, another well-respected post-secondary school, where he majored in Public Health.
His undergraduate years were crucial in discovering where his passion lies, leading him toward law, even if that path had several interesting diversions along the way. A dedicated, thoughtful, and intelligent student, Arun earned the highest pro bono honors at graduation.
Work Experience
After graduating from college with a bachelor’s degree, Arun worked on a political campaign before moving into healthcare policy and later to finance. Each of these roles drew Arun back to law, an area in which he showed consistent interest. Arun realized he wanted to help people get through tough situations to better their lives. Law was the next natural progression.
That led to his desire to pursue a legal career and enroll at the University of Nevada. Arun’s interests have always been to advocate for those in need. He has a deep passion for advocating for people facing real-world challenges. Arun plans to live out his passion by working with the team at H&P Law to help those affected by personal injury get legal assistance.
During his college years, Arun remained busy through a diverse variety of activities and volunteer programs. One such activity—and a particular favorite of Arun’s—was when he served as an active volunteer with the Kids Court School program while he was attending law school in Las Vegas. The initiative aims to teach children all about the judicial system.
Outside of Work
Arun is originally from New Hampshire. He is also an avid tennis player and enjoys watching and following the sport regularly. Basketball is another favorite pastime. Although he does not play, Arun does enjoy keeping up with the National Basketball Association (NBA), catching games as often as he can as a noted fan of the Boston Celtics.
His hobbies and passions center on spending time with his family and serving their needs. He also enjoys trying new restaurants and sampling different cuisines as a true food lover. He is always willing to try something new. In those rare moments he has some time free, Arun spends much of it outdoors exploring the natural wonders of the world.
Professional Interests
Arun joins H&P Law with the hope of playing an active role in serving the community and providing exceptional legal services through each opportunity he gets to work with clients. He stands ready to help victims find the best possible way through personal injury challenges.
Triumphing over adversity and aiding others in doing so is a hallmark of Arun’s belief system. As a new member of the H&P Law team, Arun will learn the ropes and gradually start working closely with clients. He will use what he’s learned through his diverse experiences to teach clients about their rights and guide them through the civil legal system with skill and care.
Being a new Law Clerk brings exciting opportunities and challenges to a law career, and we could not be happier to welcome Arun to the team as he takes this incredible step in making a difference in the world around him, one case at a time.
