Keith Pickard is representing a local Las Vegas business in a fraud case that grew out of a failure to disclose the imminent condemnation proceedings associated with Project Neon.
According to the complaint Keith filed last week, the landowner signed a six-year lease with Gwen Bartholomew, who was leasing space to open a Louisiana-style sandwich shop called Streetcar Po-Boys. Ms. Bartholomew alleges in her complaint that the landlord knew that the space would be subject to a government taking within approximately a year, but intentionally concealed that fact to induce Ms. Bartholomew into leasing the space.

Local business owner says she was ousted by Project Neon; Attorney Keith Pickard confirms
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) — A small business owner is trying to keep her restaurant open as problems related to Project Neon threaten to shut her down for good. Gwen Bartholomew owns Streetcar Po’boy on Oak Street near Interstate 15. She’s now suing the property owner and closing down the restaurant, but she is hoping it’s only temporary.
